Contrast #2

I don’t usually take pictures of birds - they move too fast and I don’t have the right lens to get close to them. But when I saw this cardinal, I just turned a shot, no thinking involved. And when I got home I discovered the empty beer bottle in the foreground.

Whatever you think about littering, the green of the glass goes well with the red of the bird. Funny how much more prominent it is in the image - when I wheeled around and shot, I had no idea it was there.
