Snowman
The snowman was made when there was snow rather than a small, temporary lake here. Whimsical for sure, and I know there are lots of possible metaphors to tease out here. That doesn’t interest me today.
The truth is I almost missed that waterlogged snow person. I was overwhelmed by the reflections in the water, their depth and their color. I was so surprised to see the reflected image that was strikingly more interesting to look at than the scene it reflected.
I guess that’s why I keep looking at these scenes, inverted images of our normal reality. It reminds me of the value of a new perspective.
