The earth tones don’t dominate at the shore. Yes, there are rocks and sand that perpetuate the browns. But on this day, it is the blues that are transcendent. Spring reminds me that there are an infinite variety of greens. A day on the shore teaches me that there are just as many blues.
And the blues are a comfort to me – my initial discomfort in the vastness of blue subsides with the subtle blending of hue into hue. Slow gentle transitions make this effortless.
Making friends with a new place, noticing the blues.
